by Asimov, Isaac
New York, 1973. Like New. Signed. Typed note on Asimov's letterhead of 12 West 72nd St. 3K, New York. Addressed to Charles Garvin, who at the time was co-founder of Pendragon Press which published a few chapbooks, notably of Ursula K. Le Guin. "Thank you for your letter of 8 May. I am afraid we can't do business. I don't have any stories at all for sale that are unpublished. I would have to write something especially for you and I can't do that because there are about half a dozen people ahead of you in line. Besides, to tell you the truth, I wouldn't do it this way." Signed in black ink by Asimov. Fine, with horizontal crease from folding. Original envelope included, with Asimov's address label. (Inventory #: 201682)
