Typed Letter Signed dated May 19, 1969. Andre Norton TLS in defense of her "Operation Time Search

Maitland, Florida, 1969. Like New. Signed. Single sheet on Andre Norton's letterhead, addressed to Richard E. Geis with four paragraphs of typed text, signed in ink by Andre Norton. Norton here is responding to a review in Geis' "Science Fiction Review" that is dismissive of Norton's research on the subject of Atlantis-Mu legends. The second paragraph clarifies her acceptance of the legendary status of Atlantis. The third paragraph defends her belief that "Atlanteans did bring an end to themselves by deliberately choosing to follow a path of 'dark knowledge'". The fourth paragraph dismisses the claim that Atlanteans were democratic. And in the final paragraph (truncated) she vents a little about the review by Mr. Boardman.
