Pen notations applied to many images, 2 albums with "Rubattel & Weyermann S.A." in gilt on upper cover (but all four are from the same source), photographs generally very good to excellent, a few rubbed. Albums of the period (one will be improved some), & internally in very good condition. An extensive photographic record of all the finely detailed Rubattel & Weyermann watch casings made over the period. Each is numbered consecutively, and additional annotations are frequently present. All in all, an extraordinary record of what was produced from this Swiss watch case maker. Rubattel & Weyermann are the same company that in 2002 became integrated to the Swatch Group. CONTENTS: [4 albums]: [A] Album (no title), containing stock numbers 1-710 (pocket watches); [B] Rubattel & Weyermann Album, gilt-stamped title on cover, containing stock items 2486-3931 (some are pendent cases, some wristwatch bands; [C] Rubattel & Weyermann Album [Rubattel & Weyermann is name within, on typed card and mounted], the album is labelled "12" contains stock numbers 3161-3256 ["Cliche"] (pocket watches); [D] Rubattel & Weyermann Album, gilt-stamped on cover, containing stock numbers 4626-5330 (many ladies wristwatches, the first 7 photographs in this album are of exotic pocket watches, very elaborate, showing cases that would have been hand painted.
