Inscribed Photograph

1972. unbound. 10 x 8 inches, no place, no date, circa 1972 -- a black-and-white Richard Avedon photo of Bud Shank wearing large rimmed glasses, a turtleneck, and a black leather jacket, and holding his alto-sax. The photo was taken against a dark background, giving the image a dramatic effect. Inscribed: "Hi Dennis - Best Wishes, Bud Shank." Small crease on the upper portion of the image; very good condition. Legendary alto-sax player who helped define the west coast Jazz Movement of the 1950s. (Inventory #: 241665)
