This charming book was a collaborative effort between Kate Greenaway, the artist, and Edmund Evans, the printer. Illustrated in color on twenty-three pages and both covers, it is hard to imagine another color printer achieving delicate, sublime effect Greenaway's pastel drawings elicit. The covers are slightly darkened with contemporary ownership stamp on rear board, still a ve nice copy. (Inventory #: 35401)
