Advertisement of Palucca's solo and group performances released by the agent Arthur Bernstein, exclusive representative for Palucca in Germany and foreign countries. Profusely illustrated with b/w photographs of Palucca dance performances throughout. Contains sixty-five reviews, many of them detailed and extensive. The part is illustrated with eighteen, mostly full page images (truncated) of Palucca performing, and two instructional dance move drawings.

This part is followed by a small section of judgments of Palucca performances by artists, incl.. Wassily Kandinsky, Paul Klee,Georg Kolbe, L. Moholy-Nagy, Isai Dobroven, and others. A page with Palucca on her school, printed in the Musikblättern (Musical Publication) of the "Anbruch" in 1929, with a a b/w photograph of a Palucca dance performance on verso. Contains photo credits and Palucca ads at rear. Laid in an illustrated article on the Munich Ballet Festival, and a double page on a Cocteau ballet during the festival with double page photo.

The photographs are credited to Charlotte Rudolph, Dresden (13), the acclaimed woman dance photographer, Hugo Erfurth, Dresden (3), Arnold Genthe, Leipzig (2), and one photo by W. Moeck, Dresden. Printed by Wilhelm Limpert, Dresden. Laid in six photo-illustrated pages of "Theater-Tagebuch" lead by Joachim Kaiser. Text in German. Wraps somewhat age-toned with some sunning at spine and very light wear along edges. Previous owner's name inked to front free endpaper. Photographs in fine condition. Gret Palucca (1902-1993) was a German dancer and teacher. From 1914-1916 she took ballet lessons with the great Heinrich Käller and later became a pupil of the famous Mary Wigman. In 1925 she founded "Die Palucca Schule" in Dresden. In 1926 Wassily Kandinsky wrote two noted essays on Palucca which put her on the map internationally. In 1939 she supposedly was no longer allowed to perform under the Nazi regime. Once "Ausdruckstanz" was out of style, Palucca helped create the "Neuer Künslerischer Tanz. (Inventory #: 54282)
