by Travers, P. L.
London: Gerald Howe Ltd, 1934. First edition. Near Fine/Very Good +. Travers' famous first book in the Mary Poppins series. Book nearly Fine with the spine slightly rolled and a bit of the publisher's glue escaping from the rear paste-down. In a Very Good+ dust jacket with several amateur tape repairs to the verso of the jacket, stabilizing small chips and tears. One larger snag at the spine fold with corresponding rumpling to the paper. Despite the flaws, a handsome copy.
The popular masterpiece of children’s literature. "Mary Poppins" follows the Banks family as they are visited by a seemingly stern but ultimately magical and kind nanny (truncated)
