Guadalajara: Tipografia de Dionisio Rodriguez, 1864. Good plus.. 20pp. Disbound, with two staples and minor losses at gutter margin. Otherwise, light tanning. An idyllic and apparently unrecorded description of the Templo de Carmen de Guadalajara, which was built in the city center in the late 1750s. The author describes in great detail the architectural features, art, and design of the church. The last few pages comprise a brief biography of Fray Manuel de San Juan Crisóstomo, a Carmelite monk who was the head of the church at the time this work was published. With an attractive title page containing a vignette image of the edifice; Not in OCLC. (Inventory #: 5324)
