Tigers Eye Literary Magazine, 1947 to 1949

Nine issues of the magazine of art and literature published in nine quarterly issues between 1947 and 1949 . Publishers were writer Ruth Stephan and painter John Stephan. The magazine featured works by artists representing the Surrealists, Latin American avant-garde, and Abstract Expressionists including Max Ernst, Alberto Giacometti, Adolph Gottlieb, Stanley William Hayter, André Masson, Pablo Picasso, Mark Rothko, Anne Ryan, Kay Sage, Kurt Seligmann, Rufino Tamayo, and Mark Tobey.
