Boston, Massachusetts: Forbes Lithograph Man'f'g. Co, 1883. Very good. Light toning/sunning, a spot or two.. A letter on company letterhead for the Forbes Lithograph Man'f'g. Co., written in ink and dated Aug. 27, 1883. Addressed to Farr Alpaca Co. of Holyoke, Massachusetts, the letter acknowledges receipt of a wire, and responds: "Will ship some German Honeycomb tags tomorrow" and notes that the company will forward a new balance upon shipment of the product. Measures approx. 10.5" by 8" The Forbes Lithograph Man'f'g. Co. was founded in the late 19th century by William H. Forbes (1836-1915). The Farr Alpaca Company was a textile manufacturer based in Holyoke. (Inventory #: 27005413)
