Tall octavo (23.5cm); [xiv],654pp; frontis + illus. throughout. Silver and blue dust jacket with $4.00 price intact; boards in blue cloth with gilt lettering. Jacket cleanly split along much of front joint (a couple inches still holding), with a few shallow closed tears and chips along edges, light toning to spine, and a few general scuffs and smudges to surface. Boards lightly bumped at top front corner and nudged at spine ends. Pages very slightly toned but unmarked.
