Housed in publisher's slipcase. Jackets lightly worn along edges with some shallow chipping; spines toned. Boards show mild shelfwear. Bindings sound. Patch of staining and toning along top third of pages 8-11 of volume I, affects text though still legible; pages else unmarked. Slipcase shows heavier wear with chipping and exposure to edges; remains structurally sound however.

A Very Good and sound set of West's masterpiece, which leads with the dedication, "To My Friends in Yugoslavia, / Who Are Now All Dead or Enslaved. (Inventory #: 31754)
