On hand-made Riccardi paper. 4to. 24 by 16 cm. x, 144, [4] pp. Two wood engravings -- frontis portrait of Hardy, and title page vignette of owl on stack of books. Vellum has a smattering of stains and bleached-out spots, and the boards are somewhat splayed, as typical of vellum, but nonetheless the binding remains handsome. Endpapers with trivial foxing.
