Han-Shan (c. 800) is a highly esteemed Chinese Buddhist poet of T'ang-era China - a period which was considered to be China's "Golden Age." Not much is known about Han-Shan's life. His poems often explore themes of nature, solitude, and the search for spiritual enlightenment. His work continues to be relevant today for its timeless messages and accessibility.
