This set, from a portfolio published by The Colonial Company after the illustrations commissioned by Herbert S. Stone and Company, Chicago, in 1894 as an embellishment for a multi-volume collection of the author's works. Illustrations of "The Fall of the House of Usher", "The Mask of the Red Death", "The Murders in the Rue Morgue", and "The Black Cat". Boards chipped.
