Chariton, Iowa was settled in the mid-1800's by various pioneers heading across the country in ox-drawn wagons. St. Andrew's first services were held January 6, 1901 and the building was consecrated August 31, 1904. Pages lightly toned. Interior clean, boards rubbed at spine and corners.
