[London]: The Medici Society, 1970. 14” x 8 1/4”; a charming Advent calendar, probably mid-century; single cardstock sheet with an illustration by Molly Brett showing the Virgin Mary with the infant Jesus surrounded by birds and animals. Molly Brett turned out delightful illustrations for the Medici Society, which was founded in 1908 to bring artist’s work to a wider public. To this day they published stationary, calendars, cards, children’s books and reproductions.~~The “windows” of this lovely Advent calendar have not bee opened. (Inventory #: 298494)
