A lovely full-morocco Cosway binding, in a deep navy-blue, with gilt-lattice tooling along the panels and decorative gilt-tooling within the spine's compartments. Beautiful water-color portrait of Robert Louis Stevenson to the front panel. Signed by the binder (Bayntun of Bath) at the foot of the front pastedown. 12mo, all edges gilt. A bit of minor abrading at the silk front endpaper, otherwise very clean internally. The correct 1913 1st edition of this collection, including "Underwoods", "Ballads", "Songs of Travel" and "A Child's Garden of Verses".
