Orange cloth, lightly rubbed and bumped at the edges and corners, with gilt lettering and a gilt lettering and black ink design on the spine and front board. Square, hinges starting, firmly bound otherwise with some bumps to the top-right page corners. A collection of the first six Busher stories featuring baseball pitcher Jack Keefe as he bumbles his way from the minor leagues to the majors. These stories were originally published in the Saturday Evening Post, collected here for the first time.
