Very Good in a Very Good jacket, unclipped ($14.95), bumped and with some creases and very short tears at the edges. White cloth, a spot of soiling on the front board, with silver gilt lettering and designs on the spine and front board. Square and firmly bound, a few stray stains on the edges, clean internally. Helprin's "capitalist fantasy" novel, considered by many to be one of the best works of American fiction in the later half of the 20th century.
