by Isak Dinesen (Karen Blixen)
Stated First Edition/First Printing; A Near Fine book in a Very Good dust jacket. A handsome copy of this memoir by the Danish author Karen Blixen, published under the pen name Isak Dinesen; basis for the Academy Award winning film starring Meryl Streep and Robert Redford. This copy is in near fine condition showing only some light rubbing to the board edges and some minor off-setting to the pastedowns and free papers. Housed in a clean and bright very good dust jacket that shows some minor tearing with a minimal loss of material to the lower front panel edge, some mild chipping to the spine ends and corners, and some light sunning to the spine. Overall, a presentable and collectible copy. Not remaindered, not price-clipped, not ex-library; in a protective Mylar cover and will ship securely wrapped in a sturdy box.
