Very good in its original, decorated dark green cloth covered boards with gilt text and designs on the spine and gilt ttext and branch designs in light gray on the front board. The end sheets are printed. A small quarto of 9 1/2 by 6 1/8 inches with the cloth at the upper and lower corners of the spine worn and rubbed with the same to the tips of the boards. Without a dust jacket. 96 pages of text with each page decorated with color page headings and tails and with a decorated color title page. Illustrated with a color frontispiece of a winter scene at sunset and 19 plates from paintings or drawings by Howard Pyle, John J. Enneking, and Edmund H. Garrrett. (Inventory #: TB33435)
