United States, 1962. Very good.. Two (2) pieces of ephemera offering parents advice for toilet training little ones, published in 1947 and 1962. Both promote companies. The first promotes "Toidey" brand training toilets; on the front is a "Time Card" which parents can use to start tracking baby's bowel movements, and on the back are whimsical song lyrics for the song "I'm Not a Spartan Baby so... don't throw me in!". The second item is a brief booklet on toilet training for parents, offering descriptive and practical advice. Published by Ross Laboratories, it was published to help market pharmaceuticals and family. care products produced by the companies. Provides interesting insight into parenting at the time, and how companies marketed products to families.
