Very Good. 516pp. Thick quarto [28 cm] 1/2 black leather with blue cloth over boards and a gilt stamped title on the backstrip. Top edge gilt. Title page printed in black and blue. The extremities are rubbed- a bit more pronounced along the joints. The boards are slightly darkened in areas, and the leather at the foot of the backstrip is just a little chipped. There are minor small stains in the bottom margins of a handful of pages. With 4 color plates with tissue guards, 40 monochrome plates, and 12 illustrations in the text. Complete. A bibliography of the renowned painter and poet William Blake. One of an edition of two hundred and fifty copies printed on specially made paper at the Chiswick Press, London.
