Sauk City, WI: Arkham House, 1949. Limited Edition. Small Octavo. Portrait frontispiece, ix, 306 pages, limited to 2995 copies. The end of the first decade of Arkham House's existence ushered in the fourth and final collection of the writings of H.P. Lovecraft. Something about Cats includes revision, essays, notes, drafts and appreciations of Lovecraft in a large volume. It is also important as a companion volume to Marginalia (Lovecraft's third book) and essential for the Lovecraft or Arkham House Collector (Jefferey p. 47). A very good copy bound in black cloth, spine lettering gilt, with a few spots of rubbing to boards, in a gray unclipped pictorial dust jacket lettered and decorated in black with blue-green rules, spine blue-green, lettered in black accented in white, a bit of toning to upper edge of jacket.
