First trade edition. 21 pp, single-sided mimeograph pages. 4to. Poet, writer, editor, publisher, activist, and musician Ed Sanders (b.1939) published 'Fuck You. A Magazine of the Arts.' in the mid 1960s out of his shop, Peace Eye Bookstore in downtown New York City, as well as many other titles that are considered part of the "Mimeo Revolution" of the time. Sanders was (truncated) declared "a leader of New York's Other Culture" by Life Magazine, and was featured on the February 17, 1967 cover of an issue.
