Staplebound
1945 · New York
by Reiss, Malcolm (Ed.); Thurman, Scott T. (Pres.)
New York: Wings Publishing Co, 1945. Staplebound. Fair. Staplebound. 10 1/4" X 6 3/4". Rubbing, toning, chipping, and tears to covers, corners, and edges of paper wraps. Wraps of No. 23 are very tenderly attached at 1 staple, and wraps of Nos. 8 and 19 are completely detached from text blocks. Nos. 8 and 19 also bear the most wear, with heavy chipping, tears, and toning. Tape to spine of No. 8. Dust-spotting to edges of text blocks. Age-toning to unmarked pages. Wraps and pages are brittle and chip easily. Bindings of Nos. 40-62 are intact. An admittedly worn, but overall solid collection of these 13 issues of Wings: Fighting Aces of War Skies.
