Amphigorey is made up of books first published between 1953 and 1965. They are now difficult and often Expensive to come, but hence this compilation. Its title is taken from amphigory, or Amphigouri, meaning a nonsense verse or composition. A fine bright copy bound in pictorial cloth lettered and decorated in tan, black, white and red, pictorial spine lettered and decorated in the same colors, in an unclipped pictorial dust jacket with some chipping to head, small nick to upper and lower edge of front panel. Very nice.
