The archive was the working material for the make-up and hair stylist for the film. With 4 color Polaroid photos of Robert De Niro in character as Stanley Cox showing his hair and make-up from the front, back, and both sides, a 119 page revised shooting script with color rewrite pages for the film Stanley & Iris written by Harriet Frank, Jr. and Irving Ravetch with “Same as 8/17/87 with scene numbers added” on the title page and revision pages dated through August 29, 1988, 9 pages of time & continuity sheets, crew lists, and miscellaneous production material. Stanley & Iris was directed by Martin Ritt, starring Robert De Niro, Jane Fonda, Swoosie Kurtz, and Martha Plimpton and tells the story of a struggling widow (Fonda) who falls in love with an illiterate short-order cook (De Niro) whom she teaches to read and write.
