Boards illustrated by Lynd Ward repeating a wood engraving, with the back cover in reverse of the front. Gilt title on spine (a trifle rubbed). Publisher's black top stain. The boards are mildly edgeworn, the spine ends are a bit bruised, and there is a small green stain at the foot of the spine. There is a contemporary owner's brief inscription on the front free endpaper. No dust jacket. Dance 043. A novel featuring cover artwork by Chicago artist, Lynd Ward, an illustrator most known for his woodcut novels.
