[Np, but Philadelphi, 1803. 50pp. Modern plain wrappers, stapled. Heavily foxed, else very good. One of the most important documents of the post-Louisiana Purchase period. Based on material assembled by Thomas Jefferson, this publication provided basic knowledge of Louisiana to a country hungry to hear about it. The present copy matches the description of Wagner-Camp 2b:9, with no imprint given except "Duane, printer" on the titlepage. This edition is not listed in Sabin or Howes.
