1968. · Boston:
by [Boston Red Sox].
Program, 4to, illustrated, 48 pp. some slight staining to lower right part of front cover, still covers bright and clean overall, less than normal aging, absent the slight staining; near fine. The 1968 yearbook follows one of the best seasons ever in Boston history. In 1967 they won the AL title, and finished the season with 92 wins and 70 loses. They came within one game of beating St. Louis in the World Series. They had some strong pitching and Carl Yastrzemski's hitting really mad the difference. baseball-almanac website.
