Dittos (copies produced by a spirit duplicator) of various technical articles, printed on one side only in the characteristic light purple ink. Articles included are Chemistry of Sugar Presented at New England Confectioner's Association University Extension Course M.I.T. Sept 21, 1938 (28 pages), Laboratory Meetings for Discussion of Technical Aspects of Sugar Refining (2 page intro, W. A. Bemis on Raw Sugar 1/21/1939, (truncated) 17 pages, Second Meeting of the Foremen at the Tech Room, J. M. Brown on Raw Sugar Variables Feb 11, 1939, 20 pages, Third Meeting of the Forement at the Tech Room, C. L. Gillepsie on Defectation & Filtration, Feb 24, 1939, 24 pages, Meetings of the Foreman at the Tech Room, J.M.Brown, C. L. Gillespie and W. A. Bemis on Bonechar, March 18, Apri 1 & 15, 1939, 74 pages, etc including the Second Year season of similar size and topics). Very technical, down and dirty stuff related to day to day operations. Although one foreword notes that this would likely be duplicated (mimeographed) for use, we haven't found another copy on OCLC/Worldcat or eleswhere on offer as of this listing. W.H.Kidd's copy with his stamps and signature on endpapers. Otherwise bright and generally readable internally (subject to the usual vagaries of this copying method). Cloth. (Inventory #: 21856)
