This book details the history and environs of the town and also provides information on it's pools of mineral water and various accounts of its medicinal use. Apparently, the water was very sulphuric and was useful for farmers in curing chafed feet, mangy dogs, and even leprosy. Additional chapters on chemical studies of the waters, baths and bathing, and suggested usages are included.
