In reference to an earlier letter in which Snodgrass responds to Claire request that he send a photo copy of his essay (not included) "poems-paintings" for an anthology that Claire is working on about the connection of poetry and the visual arts, Snodgrass notes that he already had a "xerox" of the essay and that it is "all marked up with possible cuts for shorter performances with numbers indicating the places where I have showed slides." 15 lines written in red ink and signed Best wishes. from Wikipedia:Snodgrass won the Pulitzer Prize in 1960 for his poetry (truncated)
