1970. unbound. 10 x 8 inches, no place, no date, circa 1970 -- a full-length image of Holley bowing his upright bass. The pen has skipped causing three letters in Major to appear quite faded. Very good condition. American Jazz upright bassist best known for his work with Dexter Gordon, Charlie Parker, and Oscar Peterson. He is credited with inventing the style of Bowing Bass and humming simultaneously. (Inventory #: 225728)
