According to the text, after his FSA and military service, Delano was encouraged to come to Puerto Rico by Ed and Louise Rosskam, which he did when he recieved only the second Guggenheim Fellowship in photography (the first had gone to Edward Weston) and where he remained for most of the rest (truncated)
