Four Calligraphic Items about T.E. Lawrence

[1] A sketch of the stone lintel over the entrance to Lawrence’s cottage showing the inscription in Greek Lawrence cut thereon - “Nothing matters.”
[2] A quote from a letter from Lawrence to Mrs E. Kennington (1923) - “It means that nothing in Clouds Hill is to be a care upon its inhabitant...”
[3] A poem, apparently by Bramwell (done in black and red), entitled “T.E.L.” which begins “This horizontal block of stone/ Miraculously not a man/ Is Touched with presence nobler than/ The hollow scaffolding (truncated) of bone.”
[4] A drawing of the headstone of T.E. Lawrence at Moreton. All done in the lovely calligraphic hand of Charles Bramley, an admirer and collector of T.E. Lawrence. (Inventory #: 249996)
