Circa 1860s, undated. 96 handcolored plates, vignette style, of costumes from the Middle Ages to the mid-19th century in Europe. Plates are almost entirely clean and bright. A few have minor light smudges in no way affecting the picture. Binding tight. Morocco spine has five raised bands and intricate tracery work. Light shelfwear to leather by joints, and wear in corner. Spine a bit faded, but gilt still clear. Interior, fine, binding, VG, overall, fine, or near fine. (Inventory #: 000402)
