New York, 1953. unbound. 9.75 x 8 inches, New York, no date, circa 1953 -- a scarce vintage photo taken by James J. Kriegmann with a "Shaw Artists, 565 Fifth Ave. N.Y.C." imprint on the lower right. Inscribed on the left side: "To Charles + Dorothy, Love + Thank you + Always, Ruth Brown." This is one of the earliest Ruth Brown images photographed by Kriegsmann. The top white margin has been removed, leaving a rough edge; two faint creases in the bottom border. Very good(-) condition.
