1785 · Boston
by [Rittenhouse, David?]
Boston: Printed and Sold by Edmund Freeman, at his Office, north side the Town Dock, 1785. 12 leaves, as issued. Stitched and untrimmed, light to moderate spotting and soil. Some contemporary manuscript notations. Good+.
Evans attributes authorship to Rittenhouse; but NAIP w026425 says, of the various Weatherwise almanacs, "the attribution is unfounded, and most of these almanacs can be shown to have been the work of identifiable New England calculators." There were four Weatherwise almanacs printed for the year 1786; three issued from Boston, and one from Plymouth. This one, by Freeman, is by far the scarcest, NAIP recording only a few locations.
