"The work is intended as a supplement to the Bibliotheca Spenceriana, forming vols. 5 and 6. It contains (truncated) an account of the ancestors of Earl Spencer, a history of the mansion, with an account of the pictures, and 32 engravings of the most important in the gallery, a systematic catalogue of editions of the Scriptures, an account of the Aldine editions, not contained in the former volumes [and] a supplement to the works printed in the fifteenth century.
