Written for his dramatic writing course, the "Carolina Playmakers" taught by Frederick H. Koch. When it was produced in March 15 and 16, 1919 Wolfe played the hero, and with a photo of Wolfe in this role as Buck Gavin. Plays by Elizabeth A. Lay, Lucy M. Cobb, Erma and Paul Green and Frances Gray are included as is an appendix of a selected bibliography and list of productions of the "Carolina Playmakers" and a selected bibliography of "The Dakota Playmakers."
