Oblong 3 by 4 1/4inches (7.5 x 10.5 cm), glazed pictorial boards, yellow, with a matching yellow cloth spine, pale green endpapers, yellow edges. The cover illustration, printed in color to both boards, shows four women representing the seasons. Light foxing to a few leaves; the endpapers have faded at edges; the boards are worn; the upper board has a spot at the lower edge, not affecting type or illustration.
