EACH PHOTOGRAPH LAVISHLY SIGNED BY CARTIER-BRESSON AT ITS BASE. The 4 original photographs are crisp black-and-white portraits of Andre Breton in various iterations. All are in immaculate condition, as is this remarkable book itself. Folio, published in (truncated) 1995 by the highly-influential Editions Fata Morgana, established in 1965 and based in Montpellier, France. Cartier-Bresson's text of course is in his native French and the portfolio itself is in its pristine printed white wrappers, with loose signatures, as issued.
