Edges trimmed though text only occasionally, briefly affected. Recent owner's bookplate to front pastedown and binder's ticket to rear. Likely contemporary ink annotations to bottom of each page, adding (truncated) up the figures of Royalist losses along the way. Final page of text includes their total sum. Uncommon in retail.
