Grant in pencil on the front free endsheet. Memoir of a man who was maimed in a mining accident and how he overcame this tragedy to become an accomplished scholar and motivational speaker. Heber J. Grant (1856-1945) was the seventh prophet and president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and he held the position the second longest (26 years) behind only Brigham Young (30 years).
