[France], 1800. Good. Manuscript on paper (170 x 120 mm). Title-page + 60 pages of manuscript thusly: title (verso blank), [53] handwritten pages, 9 blank ff. (1 leaf removed), [7] handwritten pages, 6 blank ff. Light to medium browning, slight staining, bound in a limp vellum wallet binding (soiled as expected, no doubt having literally been used in the field), a cloth hoop attached to bottom of flap. Stitching to outside of spine excellently visible. EXCELLENTLY PRESERVED FIELD MANUSCRIPT OF EQUESTRIAN MEDICINE, CERTAINLY CREATED BY AN ARMY VETERINARIAN. Encased in a vellum wallet binding, the booklet must be bent in order that a cloth loop, attached (truncated)
