Autograph Letter Signed by actor William Prince, while cast in the short-lived Edward Albee two-act play, *The Man Who Had Three Arms*. The play concerns a man who unexpectedly grows a third arm, which makes him famous, but also triggers a series of the difficulties that come with celebrity. The play premiered in Florida in June 1982, followed by a tryout in Chicago in October that same year. This April 1983 letter was written during rehearsals for its eventual Broadway debut at the Lyceum Theatre in October. Prince had previously worked with Albee in *The Ballad of the Sad Cafe* and *Seascape*, but it appears here, in a letter to his friend and children's book author, Charlotte Zolotow, he first begins to grasp the extent of Albee's immense talent.
