by CONQUEST, R[obert]
London: Macmillan & Co. (St. Martin's Press), 1961. First Edition. Octavo. 22cm. Publisher's bright red cloth titled and rule in gilt and black to spine. Dustjacket. [x]; 485pp. Some soiling to the red cloth, rubbing to the black rules to the spine and bumped to the spine ends, solid and presentable; internally clean; in a bright, strong pricelipped dustjacket with the Macmillan imprint overlaid with a "St. Martin's" label, indicating this is most likely a UK edition exported for sale in the US, the jacket has some light soiling to the white rear panel and a little minor marginal wear. Shows very well. A very good copy.
